1933-1939 Elementary and High School in  Voinesti,
1937-1945 Education as a teacher in "Vasile Lupu" in Iasi
1945-1949 Study at the academy of music "George Enescu"  for music and dramatic art in Iasi.

1954-1957 Further studies in musical composition and modal Polyphony with Zeno VANCEA. Musical forms, insrumentation and orchstration with Constantin BUGEANU. Musical Aesthetic and composition with Dimitrie CUCLIN.|
1973-1974 Study at the University for Music in Bucharest and received the diploma with the wording: "Le folklore musical roumain dans la création culte-chorale et dans le spectacle scénique".

Professional activity:
1946-1949 Director of the mixed choir "Foyer culturel 'C.Vasilescu' " in Voinesti-Iasi
1949-1960 Director of the choir and orchestra of the artistic ensemble "Ciocarlia" in Bucharest
1960-1965 Musicologist and inspector at the ministry of culture and music
1965-1976 Artistic Director and Director of the Orchestra-Ensemble "CIOCARLIA" and "RAPSODIA ROMANA" of Bucharest.
1976-1979 Folklorist in executive position at the ethnographic and folklore institutes "Constantin Brailoiu" in Bucharest
1979-1984 Artistic Director and head of the artistic formation "CIOCARLIA" in Bucharest.

Musical Compositions:
He has realized a large number of musical works for choirs, choirs and orchestras of various types, for singers and instrumental soloists, classical and folk instrumental accompaniment in a large number of different stem style and genre such as songs, ballads, vocal symphonic poems, music-ethnic-choreographic panels, orchestral suites for folk dance, symphonic and chamber music for brass bands, folkloric adaptations.

He received many artistic awards at home and abroad, including: "mention exeptionelle création pour chorale, a la 1st edition (May 1997) du Festival de création et d'interpretation religieuse: 'A TA Imparatia si este puterea'" and also : 2 Price (ex aequo) at the Choral Singing Competition in Tours, France in 1976.

For the most part his musical works are performed by a variety of choirs, major orchestras and folk ensembles such as: Bucharest, Suceava, Baia-Mare, Timisoara, Craiova, Tg.Mures, or of Moldova Chisinau and Novi Sad (Yugoslavia), as well as in Switzerland, Belgium and Holland.

He traveled all over Romania and collected folk music (Doinas, ballads, songs, melodies of Romanian folk plays but also musical treasures from Hungaria, Serbia and Bulgaria). He collected many of them, recorded, preselected and published them. His work has been performed in various concerts in Germany and abroad (France, Belgium, Holland, England, Germany, Italy, Greece, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Russia and other European countries and in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Japan, Australia etc.):

- National Chamber Choir. "Madrigal", conducted by Maître Marin CONSTANTIN
- The children's choir of Radio Bucharest, conducted by Maître Eugenia Vacarescu 

- The ensemble "Rapsodia Romana", "Ciocarlia", "Doina al Armatei" and "Doina Bucurestiului"
- Orchestra conducted by Gheorghe Zamfir formations, Nivola Pirvu (NL), Benone 
- For the 'Swiss Appenzeller Sreichmusiken' "Sepp Horn" and "Alpenröösli"
- He was commissioned by Joeri Murk and arranged many melodies such as "Melodias Rumantschas as Tista Murk".
- He has written 6 arrangements of Romanian folklore for Simion Stanciu (Syrinx).
- And a transcription of the first Rhapsody in A Major by George Enescu for flute and chamber orchestra (1998).
- He published Romanian folk music from Moldavia, Maramures oas, Oltenia, Muntenia and Dobrogea
- He worked together with Gh-Judet POPESCU, Gheorghe Baciu, Maria Constantinescu, Isidor RIPA and Gh Gaman.

Radio-TV-recording records and cassettes: As a director of various orchestras and musical arranger of folklore titles, he made many recordings at the "Radio Diffusion Roumaina and Radio Novi Sad Yugoslavia". Records, cassettes and CD's with folk music, he realized with "Electro Record", "Eurostat," "Jolt KERESTELLY" and the instrumental band "Nicolae Pirvu" in Holland.

Current Activity:
He participates as a jury member at many festivals, on national and international artistic competitions.
Currently Constantin Arvinte is an active member of the "Commission de musique chorale de l' of Composers", he is a member of the "National Federation of the ensemble Folkloriques de Roumanie" (A, Nafr), is in charge as a national consultant and is the artistic director of the folklore  student ensemble "Doina" in Bucharest.

Since 1995 Joeri Murk invited Constantin Arvinte regularely invited to the "Panflute Festival Arosa", Switzerland. He supported Mr. Murk to enhance and perfect students of all age groups in panflute interpretation and expression. Moreover, his compositions, arrangements and transcriptions for various instruments (Organ, Piano and Orchestra) advance a huge panflute repertoire.
